Pickens-Kane Moving & Storage is incredibly proud to be the Transport Sponsor for the Great Chicago Fire Hydrant campaign. This amazing operation, which will conclude with 101 five-foot tall fiberglass painted hydrants being positioned throughout downtown, kicked-off on September 11 at Firehouse 98. The ceremony simultaneously remembered the heroes who sacrificed everything 12 years ago as well as celebrated the brave men and women who keep Chicago safe everyday.

All proceeds from the campaign will help the 100 Club of Chicago continue to provide needed financial assistance to families of fallen Police and Fire Fighters.

Keep an eye out Chicago for Pickens-Kane trucks as they will be positioning all the hydrants over the next two weeks.  In November & December look for the entire collection to be on display at Navy Pier before being auctioned off online and the Hyatt Regency. Over the next few months when you see a hydrant on the street please take a moment to remember the courageous citizens who serve our city proudly.
